Professor Daniel Tutt
I specialize in continental philosophy, psychoanalysis, and new directions in Marxist theory.
My latest research looks at virtue ethics within continental philosophy, psychoanalytic theories of historical periodization and how philosophy can help us understand otherization in society, specifically Islamophobia. In my research I am interested in forging a dialogue between psychoanalysis and philosophy as a means to better understanding human subjectivity and desire.
